Black Raven Tattoo is celebrating our 9th Anniversary on the 25th, and we’re leaning all the way into it with a full day dedicated to what we’re calling the Divine 9.
What started as a fight to even be allowed to open as Torrance’s first tattoo shop has turned into nine years of growth, loyalty, and being voted the best, year after year. We’ve held our ground, built something real, and we’re still here—stronger than ever.
So we’re celebrating the only way that feels right.
Expect a mix of mysticism and ink, done the way we always do it. By giving you something extra. We’ll be offering FREE tarot readings to all clients—whether you’re walking in, have an existing appointment, or just stopping by to book your next tattoo with a deposit. Not getting tattooed? You can still get a reading for $25 and be part of it.

We’ll also be dropping a new set of designs inspired by the number 9—from potion bottles (not all of them are love potions… some might be deadly or healing), and The 9 lives of cats with various cat themed designs. Each one tied into the symbolism, mystery, and energy that comes with the number.
It’s not just an anniversary—it’s a marker. Nine years of pushing through, building something that wasn’t handed to us, and continuing to evolve.

The day begins with a Survivor Brunch, celebrating strength and resilience, followed by an Opening Ceremony that brings the community together in unity and hope. Throughout the day, you’ll find live entertainment, local vendors, fundraising teams, and community partners all working toward a shared mission—advancing the fight against cancer.
From the joyful spirit of the Puppy Parade to the moving Luminaria Ceremony in the evening, Curechella carries both lightness and meaning. It’s a space to celebrate life, support one another, and be reminded that no one faces cancer alone.
