The City of torrance
The city of Torrance is doing an amazing job at organizing with the help of a few volunteers, they are planning to have an amazing event for everyone in attendance, and its FREE.

The action kicks off from 10 AM to 6 PM, featuring two live World Cup match broadcasts:
-
First Match: 12 PM
-
Second Match: 3 PM
And this isn’t some tiny TV in the corner.
A GIANT outdoor viewing screen will take over the intersection of Sartori & Marcelina, bringing every goal, save, near miss, and crowd eruption to life in the middle of Downtown Torrance. Feel the roar of thousands of fans around you as the city turns into one massive soccer celebration.
If there was ever a time to call in “sick” with World Cup fever… this might be it.

By July 11th, the World Cup won’t just be heating up… it’ll be absolutely electric.
As the tournament pushes into its later stages, every match starts to feel bigger, louder, and more emotional. One goal can change everything. One bad call can break hearts. And every fan suddenly becomes a part-time coach, referee, and soccer expert overnight.
That energy? It’s coming straight to Downtown Torrance.
With streets closed throughout Old Torrance, thousands of fans filling downtown, giant outdoor viewing screens broadcasting every second live, and the entire district buzzing with World Cup fever, the July 11th Watch Party is expected to feel even more intense than opening weekend.
This is where casual viewers become die-hard fans.
Expect dramatic goals, nail-biting finishes, crowd eruptions loud enough to shake Sartori Avenue, and enough chanting and cheering to make you feel like you’ve been dropped into the middle of an international stadium celebration.
In other words… don’t get caught watching from your couch while Downtown Torrance is going into extra time.
